Funeral service for Mark Allen Dye, 46, of Bell Buckle will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Doak Howell Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Howell and George Carnell officiating. Burial will follow at Blanton’s Chapel in Coffee County. Mr. Dye died Sunday, March 8. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A native of Bedford County, he was the son of Tommy Glenn Dye and Mary June Parker Dye.  During the past 20 years he was a psychiatric director for Harton Regional Medical Center, Grandview Medical Center, Stones River Medical Center, and Lincoln County Health Systems. He graduated from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Ky., with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in religion.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Elizabeth (Beth) Catherine Dye, children Cole and Tommy Dye of Bell Buckle, siblings Rodney (Robin) Dye of Morrison, Patty (Billy) Howell of Corbin, Ky., Paul Dye of Shelbyville, and several nieces and nephews.
