Marilyn Kay Ayers, 67, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County, native was born Oct. 26, 1950 and died May 6 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. She was a former employee of Seaboard Farms, Bouldin and Lawson and retired receptionist of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Company, member of Cornerstone Methodist Church in Chattanooga, and daughter of the late Harlie Everett and Etta Bea Nunley Clendenon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Elsie Willene Clendenon and Clifford Eugene Clendenon.
