Margie Juanita McGinness Donalson, 95, of McMinnville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, at Woodbury Health and Rehab.  

She was born Sept. 17, 1924 to her parents, the late Eld. Henry Edward and Myrtle Jones Young.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis McGinness and Virgil Donalson, two brothers Marvin and Willy G. Young and sister Betty Jean Young.  

Juanita was a member of New Bildad Primitive Baptist Church and retired from River Park Hospital as the charge cook in the dietary department. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Carolyn (Toby) Cantrell of Smithville, son Kenneth (Sharon) McGinness of Smyrna, seven grandchildren, Jamie (Andrew) Cantrell of Sparta, Teresa Cantrell and Lisa (Dustin) Prater both of Smithville, Kendra (Christopher) Estes of Smyrna, Keith Huff of Smyrna, Kraig (Ana) Huff of Carlsbad, Calif., and Krista of Vista, Calif., 14 great-grandchildren Sarah (Ricardo) Torres, Hannah (Caleb) Johnson, Isaac Cantrell, Zachary Atnip, Peyton Atnip, Lauren Hale, Maddie Prater, Dillon Estes, Mackenzie Estes, Jackson Estes, Bailey Jo Huff, Kolby Huff, Dayja and Marcello, one great-great-grandson, RJ Torres, one sister Maureen Gillette of Dibrell, three brothers, Charles (Barbara) Young and Jimmy (Marlene) Young, both of Dibrell and Gerald (Lee) Young of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral service was Monday, March 9, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with elder Joseph Arnold officiating and burial followed at New Bildad Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday and Monday. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Ms. Juanita.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
