Luther Don Fults Sr., 70

Morrison resident and Grundy County native Luther Don Fults Sr., 70, was born Sept. 5, 1950 and died March 26 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.

A veteran of the United States Army, retired truck driver, and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late France Hill and Martha Myrtle Fults. He was married to Martha Wimberly Fults, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Mabel Frances Magouirk.

Mr. Fults is survived by three children, Michael Fults of Altamont, Lisa Haley of Manchester, and Donnie Fults of Grundy County, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister Connie Fults of Morrison, three nephews, and one niece.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, at 12:00 p.m. in High’s Chapel with Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday from 12 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
