McMinnville resident and Warren County native Louise Womack Greene, 85, was born August 15, 1927 and died unexpectedly July 28 at St. Thomas Hospital.A retired teacher's aide with the Warren County School System and a member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Flossie Gribble Womack. She was married Nov. 27, 1945 to Alton Blaxton Greene who preceded her in death July 4, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alton and Elma Womack.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Beverly Greene of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brandi Hodges of Lebanon and Zack Greene and Lee Garrett Taylor, both of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, Ginny Hodges, Cole Wallace and Asher Wallace; and special niece, Barbara Campbell and husband Ken of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 in High's Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating.
