Levar Savalas Wilkerson, 38, a Nashville resident and Warren County native, died March 5 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness.He was an employee at Rich’s Products in Murfreesboro, a member of Fortieth Avenue Church of Christ and son of Nancy C. Wilkerson of Morrison and the late Dwight Barnhill. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Dmond Robinson Barnhill; maternal grandfather, Dave Wilkerson; paternal grandmother, Georgia Savage; and aunt, Ida Cummings. Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his mother; two sisters, Krista Dillard and Keith Fleming and Trista and Princeton Kennerly, both of McMinnville; maternal grandmother, Nancy L. Wilkerson of Viola; five nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Kristopher, Harmoni, Micah and Willow; uncles Eugene and Joyce Wilkerson and Jimmy and Linda Wilkerson, both of Morrison; and aunts Mary and Larry Battles of Morrison and Teresa and Lamont Carney of McMinnville.Funeral service will be noon Saturday at High’s Chapel with Chris Whitaker to officiate.
