Leonard Gordon Leggett, 89, died Tuesday, April 15 at NHC in McMinnville. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maurene Wood Leggett of McMinnville; sons, Michael Leggett and Leonard E. (Donna) Leggett, both of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Beth (Matt) Atchley, Justin, Aleshia, Nikki and Catilyn Leggett; three great grandchildren, Nicholas Atchley, Skylar and Camden LeggettHe was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Glenn and Redie Mae Espey Leggett.He was a member of Walling Church of Christ and was a Church of Christ minister for over 50 years. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army.Funeral service was held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home on Thursday with Comer Mullican officiating.
