Warren County resident and native Larry Hill, 86, died May 19 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness.
The owner of Cash & Carry Grocery, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in World War II, and a member of Hebron Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Clifford and Lena Stotts Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Evanell Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Christine Simons Hill, daughters and sons-in-law Pam and Tex Perry, and Babs and Bruce Boyd, all of McMinnville, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, brother Clinton “Pee Wee” Hill of McMinnville, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ronald and Luann Simones of Murfreesboro.
Funeral service is Sunday at 2 p.m. at High’s Chapel with Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. till time of service at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
