Mr. Kenneth W. Bratcher, 86, of McMinnville (Grange Hall Community) died Wednesday, April 1, at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1929, in Warren County, was a retired contractor, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Ivy Bluff Church of Christ. Mr. Bratcher was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Stella McMahan Bratcher, wife Martha Jo Todd Bratcher, sisters Margie Duggin, Charlene Allbright, and Nancy Bratcher, and brothers Maurice Bratcher and Jesse Bratcher Jr.
Survivors include daughter Barbara (Bill) Denson, son Joseph Bratcher and Staci Green, grandchildren Tyler (Courtney) Frazee, Ian Frazee and Kelly Willis, and John Kenneth (Jack) Bratcher, and sisters Peggy Popplewell and Martha Ross Valenson. Several nieces, nephews, and family members also survive.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Brian Reed and Bro. Kenneth Mears will officiate. Military grave rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064 at the funeral home. The Bratcher family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
