Rock Island resident Kenneth Lynn Hillis, 44, died Dec. 7 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.A carpenter with Johnson’s Construction Company, he was the son Jearld Hillis Sr., of Rock Island and the late Zora Lee Grissom Hillis.He is survived by sons, Shane Hillis of Arizona and Michael Hillis of McMinnville; daughter, Katrina Hillis of McMinnville; brothers and sister-in-law, Jearld Hillis Jr., of Rock Island, Dwayne and Sue Hillis of Sparta and two grandchildren.Graveside services will at 2 p.m. Monday at Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County.
