Kathleen Rose Schmidt Ernst, 73 of Cowan, died Jan. 9. A native of Cheektowaga, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Milton M. and Florence B. Schmidt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth A. Connary and brother, Donald Schmidt.
