Manchester resident and White County native Kathleen “Kathy” Roberts, 81, was born June 14, 1933 and died Jan. 10 at Medical Center of Manchester following an extended illness. A cook at Opal’s Cafe and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Dewey and Mary Bell Harden Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Eugene Roberts; two daughters, Carolyn Ann Roberts and Brenda Lee Koontz; two sisters, Clata Mae George and Nona Mae Beckinham; brother, Carl Lee Davis; and great-grandson, Bently Driver.
