McMinnville resident and Friendship native Kathleen Jones Byassee, 95, died Nov. 11 after an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of David H. Jones and Edna York and was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Dodds Byassee; sister, Carrie Mae Jones and brother, Franklin Jones.She is survived by daughters, Bettye (Edmund) Grady of Fayettville, N.C. and Jenny (Bill) Mullican of McMinnville; granddaughters, Kathleen (Byron) Browning of Annadale, Va., Dallas (Chris) Stanley of Greensboro, N.C., and Carrie (Chris) Tish of Charlotte, N.C.; grandsons, Dodd (Kathleen) Mullican of Birmingham, Ala., and Will (April) Mullican of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. View Cemetery with Bob Case and James Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
