Katelyn Beth Smith, 21, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Jan. 27, 2000 and died May 13 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was a cashier at Sullivan’s Hometown Pharmacy, a member of the Church of Christ, and the daughter of Neal and Amy Smoot Smith of McMinnville. Katelyn was preceded in death by grandfather, Carlos Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by sister Hannah Smith and Parker Hildreth, brother Caleb Smith, boyfriend Jackson Noblin, all of McMinnville, grandparents Jim and JoAnn Smoot of Morrison, and Charlene Smith of McMinnville, great-grandmother Aradell Jones of McMinnville, aunts Shannon Hamilton of McMinnville, and Jaime Ashby of Morrison, cousins, Dustin and Amanda Curtis of McMinnville, Tristan Hamilton of Cookeville, Carley Hamilton of McMinnville, Lauryn Ashby, Ella Ashby and J.T. Smoot, all of Morrison, and uncle Tim Smoot of Morrison.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Central Church of Christ with Hannah Smith, Caleb Smith, Mike Bost, and Bryan Kell officiating. Burial will follow at Trousdale Cemetery in Morrison. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Central Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, or Angels Among Us (Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center). Online condolences may be made at
