McMinnville resident and Whiting, Ind., native Judith Darlene Argo, 58, was born May 13, 1957 and died Jan. 14 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.
A homemaker, songwriter, member and one of the lead singers of Just Passn’ Thru, and member of the Assembly of God, she was the daughter of the late Jennings and Jerri Harness Mullins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Joy Mullins; and brother, Johnny “J.C.” Mullins.
She was married April 27, 1981 to Gary Argo of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, April and Wilbert McElrath of Nashville, Janie and Omar Guevara of McMinnville, and Jackie and Josh Hedge of Nashville; nine grandchildren; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lois and Tyron Argo of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Renae Mullins of Humbolt and Pamela Argo Jones of McMinnville; special aunt and uncle, Clarence and Janie Harness of Laurel Grove, Tenn.; stepmother, Lois Mullins of Princeton, Ky.; and two half-brothers, James Mullins of Princeton, Ky., and Jennings Mullins Jr. of Jackson.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Daniel Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at High’s. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. (EST) Wednesday at Laurel Grove Baptist Church in Briceville. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Briceville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. (EST) until the time of service Wednesday at the church.
