McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joyce Elaine Colwell, 58, died Aug. 17 at her home after an extended illness.
A supervisor with Levi Strauss Company, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Eugene and Laura Edith Crawley Craven; and was also preceded in death by sister, Wanda Farless and brothers, James and Donnie Craven.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Colwell of McMinnville; children, Roxanna Groce of McMinnville and Johnathan Whitlock of Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepchildren, Anthony and Jason Colwell of McMinnville; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Craven of Byrdstown, Ed Craven of Viola, and Billy Craven of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High’s Chapel with John Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Caney Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
