McMinnville resident and Warren County native Johnny Ned Wanamaker, 65, was born Dec. 3, 1948 and died April 26 at his residence. The son of the late Conard and B.D. Tate Wanamaker, he was a self-employed nurseryman and member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Beecher and Ollie Wanamaker, and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Bessie Tate Sr.Mr. Wanamaker is survived by his wife, Wilma Killian Wanamaker of McMinnville; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Joyce Wanamaker, Jim and Maxine Wanamaker, and Ricky and Flo Wanamaker, all of Grundy County, David and Ella Wanamaker and Bill and Nelda Wanamaker, all of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Iris and Herbert Walker of McMinnville, and Donna and Ricky Simons of Grundy County; aunt, Mildred Tate of Cookeville, and several nieces and nephews.Graveside service and interment was held Monday at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Jason Brown officiating.High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard(McMinnville, Tenn.)
