Morrison resident and Warren County native John Anthony “Tony” Simons, 53, was born March 12, 1964 and died Sept. 8 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.A supervisor with Pack Manufacturing, he was the son of Elizabeth Simons of Morrison and the late Lafonzo Simons. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Houston and Kolby Simons both of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Tammie Simons of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and uncles also survive.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at High’s Chapel with Ken Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
