Jesse David Waters, 24, of South Pittsburgh died Aug. 12 in Sturgis, Ky., of accidental drowning.On his mother’s side, he is survived by his mother, Emma Grace Wanamaker, of Coalmont; his brother, Jude Wanamaker, of Palatka, Fla., his grandparents, Judy and Robbie Daughtery, of Palatka, Fla., and Danny and Louise Wanamaker of McMinnville, his uncles and aunts Corey and Jennifer Wanamaker of St. Augustine, Fla., and Christopher and Shae Wanamaker of McMinnville, as well as several cousins.On his father’s side, he is survived by his father and stepmother, David and Lori Waters, brother James Waters, grandparents Gloria and Wayne Abbott, aunt Angie Waters Stevens and her husband, Joe, uncle Mark Waters and his wife, Mary Ann, and his uncle, Randy Waters, as well as several cousins. All of whom reside in Rising Fawn, Ga., except Mark and Mary Ann, and their family, who reside in Trenton, Ga. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David H. Waters Sr.He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Melody Bush, of Cumming, Ga.A memorial service is being held Saturday at Coalmont Community Center in Coalmont at 11 a.m. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Those who will be attending a potluck dinner afterward are encouraged to bring a dish and a canned or non-perishable food item, which will be donated to a local food bank in Jesse’s name.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
