Mrs. Janie Frances Cantrell, 88, of McMinnville died Thursday, Sept. 6, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 18, 1930, in McMinnville, was a homemaker and a member of Earleyville Church of Christ. Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by parents Johnny Firm and Nora Mae Griffin Turner, husband Glen Cantrell, sisters Earlene Nicks, Hazel Stevens, and Anita Brown, brothers Charles, Wayne, Bud, and Eugene Turner, and son-in-law Kenneth Campbell.
Survivors include her children Phyllis (Larry) Stanley, Janell (Harold) Tobitt, Glenna Campbell, John (Vicki) Cantrell, and Kenneth Cantrell, sisters Joyce Griffin and Karen Mathis, and brother Doug (Patsy) Turner. Seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
A graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Fuston Cemetery. Brian Whitlock and Jason Montandon will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc., P. O.
