McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native James Leslie Raymond, 71, was born March 26, 1941 and died July 23 at his residence following a short illness.A retired truck driver with FedEx, a member of Forest Park Baptist Church, and a disabled veteran of the United States Army, he was the son of the late Walter Eugene and Agnes Powers Raymond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Raymond; and one sister, Kay Lemay. He was married to Barbara Farmer Raymond of McMinnville.
