James D. “Duke” Ward, 74, a longtime resident of McMinnville, died Friday, Nov. 8 at Community Care of Rutherford County in Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hazel Ward; brother, Robert Ward; daughter, Lois Rhoring; and grandson, Colton Robertson. He is survived by his sister.
