Haskell Lee Cantrell, 91

Haskell Lee Cantrell, 91, a Warren County resident and native, was born April 9, 1928 and passed away Aug. 24 at NHC Healthcare of Smithville following an extended illness.

He was a retired self-employed farmer, member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ and son of the late Don and Lizzie Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Elfreeda Robinson Cantrell, sons Stephen and Randall Cantrell, brothers Bill and Herman Cantrell and sisters Ruby Joines, Bessie Roller and Eula Allen.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by three children and spouses, Kathy and Douglas Campbell, Michael and Beverly Cantrell and Melissa and Charles Pinegar, all of McMinnville, grandchildren Gary Campbell and Chastity Wright of McMinnville, Rebecca Steele of Morrison, Chris Cantrell of Winchester, Micah Cantrell of Nashville, Megan and Derrick Howard of McMinnville and Tracy and Santiago Marente of Pennsylvania, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at High’s Chapel with Teddy Jones to officiate. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
