McMinnville resident and Warren County native Harvena Gunning, 85, was born Aug. 6, 1926 and died April 18 at her residence following an extended illness. A hairdresser and member of Fall City Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Elizabeth McCormick Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Faye Bryant, and great-grandson, Mickey Bryant.She was married Sept. 20, 1970 to Arthur L. Gunning of McMinnville.
