Rock Island resident and Putnam County native Hannah Ashlin Disbro Posthumus, 19, was born Feb. 2, 1995 and died Oct. 2 at her residence following a one-year illness from childhood cancer. An employee of Burger King, a graduate of F.C. Boyd Christian School and member of Day Spring Community Church and Friendship the Baptist Church, she was born to David James Disbro and Pamela Rutledge Disbro Davis. She was married June 28, 2014 to Zach “Pookie” Posthumus of Rock Island.
