McMinnville resident and Warren County native Gregory William Jarrell, 57, was born Jan. 5, 1958 and died Dec. 5 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness.
A truck driver for IMI and Southern Central Iron & Metal, he was the son of Billy and Linda Jarrell of McMinnville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother Troy Jarrell of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister Tammy Pack of Reno, Nev.; grandsons Kaden, Kylan and James McCormick; granddaughter Abby McCormick; aunt Deanna Jacobs of the Centertown community; uncles Jr. Michael of the Centertown community, Floyd Bogle of Georgia and Elvis Bogle of Nashville; and other aunts and uncles from Georgia, Alabama, Nashville and Coffee County.
He was preceded in death by father, G.W. Bogle; daughter Angie Bogle; and maternal grandparents, Linwood and Nora Lee Michael.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing with his dad, especially on the Ponderosa, collecting Hot Wheels, or driving anything with wheels, playing solitaire on the computer, and feeding all the stray cats in Rolling Hills.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at High’s.
