Greg Arnold, 51, a Rutherford County resident and Warren County native, was born April 12, 1969 and died Dec. 28 at his residence following a sudden illness.

He was a forklift driver with International Paper, a retired United States Army veteran of Desert Storm, a member of the Baptist faith, and the son of Henry Roosevelt and Nora Bell Mount Arnold.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Joshua Arnold, and Benjamin Arnold, both of Germany, two daughters, Saskia Odermatt, and Jasmin Arnold, both of Germany, brother and spouse, William (Carlotta) Arnold of Christiana, three sisters and spouse, Robin (James) Anthony of Morrison, Kim Drake of Murfreesboro, and Shannon Arnold of Smyrna, two nieces, Amber (Jahaad) Lyons of Virginia, and Dr. Kenya Arnold of Smyrna, and nephew, C.J. Anthony of Morrison. A host of cousins, close relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at High’s Chapel with pastor Ramon Wyatt officiating. Burial followed at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Warren County. Military grave rites were conducted by American Legion Post 173 Honor Guard. The family request that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
