Glyndia Joyce Dodson, 65, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Nov. 10, 1947 and died Sept. 10 surrounded by her family at her residence. She was a retired United Methodist minister and daughter of the late Charles Lilbern and Pauline Neal Prater.She was married Aug. 5, 2000 to Larry A. Bass Jr., who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Jennifer Dodson Densteadt of McMinnville, son and daughter-in-law, James Jason and Melanie Dodson of Rock Island; grandchildren, Joshua Densteadt and fiancee, Holly Pack and Hannah Densteadt and fiancé Ryan Waters of McMinnville; Torri Dodson and Ella Dodson of Rock Island; great-grandchild McKensie Densteadt; four stepchildren, Larry Bass III, Dan Bass, Michael Bass and De’an Bass; four step-grandchildren, Rachael, Alissa, Alex and Zach; one step-great-grandchild, Luna Aurora; brother, Tim Prater of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Bill Higginbotham of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy and Joann Bass of Florida, and Bill and Lanette Bass of Alabama; sisters-in-law, Juanita Bass and Frances Bass of Nashville and many cousins whom she loved dearly.A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Union United Methodist Church.
