Glenn Ray (Pete) Milstead, 70, of Morrison, died Wednesday at his daughter’s residence in McMinnville.
He was born March 23, 1946 in Morrison, was a retired truck driver and retired security guard with Bridgestone, served his country with the Army National Guard, and was of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith. Mr. Milstead was preceded in death by parents, Alvin G. and Ruth Taylor Milstead; sister, Joice Milstead Mayes; sister-in-law Dana Underwood Milstead, and a brother-in-law W. H. Mason.
Survivors include daughters Monica Milstead and Melanie Milstead, son Tyler Ramsey, grandchildren Madison Jones and Tristan Stone, sister Elaine Mason, brother Jim Milstead, former wife Dianne Milstead, brother-in-law Howard Mayes, and caretaker Sandra Keel. Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lanny Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The Milstead family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
