McMinnville resident and Morgan County native Gerldean F. Northrup, 71, died Jan. 9 at her home after an extended illness. The daughter of the late Ruth (Payne) Jensen and George Hoover, she was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.She is survived by daughter, Misty A., and husband Billy R. Nelson of McMinnville; son, Christopher L., and wife, Tanya A. Northrup of McMinnville; sister, Barbara R. Boren of McMinnville; and 11 grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by husband, J.B. Northrup, and one brother, Charles Hoover.Mrs. Northrup will be cremated and her ashes will be given to her family for interment. Graveside service will be held Sunday at Union Grove Cemetery at 3 p.m. with Waylon Payne Jr., officiating.
