George Leaton Medley, 63, a McMinnville resident, was born Sept. 17, 1949 and died Nov. 23 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam.He was the son of the late Noah and Mary Lou Scott Medley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Avery Medley; two half-brothers, Royce and Charlie Medley, and one half-sister Velva Lea Forsyth.He was married to Diane Norton Medley of McMinnville, who survives.
