McMinnville resident and Warren County native Frances Walker, 87, was born Jan. 23, 1930 and died March 2 at her residence following an extended illness.A retired seamstress with Bridal Country and a member of St. Mary’s Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Shelly Cantrell Webb. She was married to Edward L. Walker, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2000. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Jan Arledge; three sisters, Lois Cantrell, Lila Webb Cantrell and Dorothy Webb Cantrell; and brother, Jack Carlton.She is survived by daughter, Dana Walker and son, Terry Walker, both of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hillis, Jarrod Hillis and Amanda Palmer; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Ray and Marlon Webb, both of McMinnville; sister, Katherine Boyd of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at High's Chapel with Greg Rains officiating.
