Florene Nokes, 80Florene Nokes, 80, of McMinnville died Sunday, May 29 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. She was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Warren County and was a homemaker, and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ. Mrs. Nokes was preceded in death by parents, Connie and Offie Blanton Swindell, her husband, Adrain Brown Nokes, and her sister, Evolene Burks.Survivors include her sons L. D. and Faye Nokes, McMinnville; Wayne Nokes, Millbrook, Ala., and Ronnie and Caresse Nokes, Morrison; grandchildren, Heath and Susan Nokes, Jason and Leann Nokes, Rachel Nokes, and Ryan Nokes, and great-grandchildren, Samuel, Ashlyn, Eli, and Gage Nokes.Funeral service is at 2 p.m. today in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
