McMinnville resident and Warren County native Florence Madewell, 85, was born Oct. 21, 1936 and died suddenly on Oct. 10, 2022.            

A retired seamstress and a Christian, she was the daughter of the late John Austin and Etta Pauline Coppinger Madewell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Leonard Madewell.

Miss Madewell is survived by two nephews, Bryan (Charlise) Madewell of McMinnville, and James (Jackie) Madewell of Manchester; niece, Tracy Madewell of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Nadine Madewell of McMinnville, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022 at Shiloh Cemetery in Warren County. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. Friends and family will meet at the cemetery.
