McMinnville resident and Warren County native Eugenia “Jeanie” Walker, 86, was born April 13, 1928 and died Aug. 27 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired school teacher of 31 years with the Warren County School System and a member of Shellsford Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Hazel Chastain Bottoms. She was married Aug. 23, 1948 to Howard B. Walker, who preceded her in death Oct. 27, 2009.
