Mrs. Estelle Duncan Blair, 84, of the Ivy Bluff Community, died Wednesday, Oct. 23 at NHC Health Care Center in McMinnville.
She was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Warren County. She was retired from the Warren County School System and was a member of the McMinnville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by parents George Franklin and Bertha Louann Emery Duncan, husband Alfred Blair, son Kenneth Laws, sisters Lola Hall, Drucilla Anderson, and Lorene Stewart, and brothers Louis Duncan, George Duncan, Ira Duncan, Gordon Duncan, Oliver Duncan, and Jim Duncan.
Survivors include her daughters Phyllis (Don) Smith of Woodbury, and Rita (Gerald) Malone of Liberty, sons Richard (Kathy) Laws of Woodbury, Clancy Wright of Smithville, stepchildren Peggy (Mike) Woods, Carol Crouch, and Walter (Roxann) Blair, all of McMinnville, sisters  Mary Sue Harper of Franklin, Joyce Pinegar Luna, Irene (Clinton) Butcher, and Mazel Pendergraph, all of McMinnville, seven grandchildren including Stanley Laws, Kristen Laws, Joey Smith, Josh Smith, Katie Love, Susan VanDine, and Dale Pack, 16 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dennis Clark and pastor Harley Roth will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
