McMinnville resident and Michoacan, Mexico native, Ernestina Calderon De Mercado, 47, was born Nov. 22, 1965 and died unexpectedly Nov. 22 at St. Thomas Hospital.The daughter of Alidia Zarate of Texas and the late Juan Calderon, she was the owner of Lupitas Restaurant. She was married to Armando Mercado of McMinnville, who survives.In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Diego Mercado, Brenda Mercado and Erick Mercado, all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Armando Belloso, Citlaley Alamilla, Faviola Mercado, Yaretzi Mercado, Diego Jr., Mercado and Javier Mercado and a grandson on the way; and 10 brothers and sisters, Esperanza, Ofelia, Monica, Eva, Mariana, Angela, Angelina, Rodolfo, Juvenal and Adrian Calderon.There will be no service.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
