Mrs. Emma Lee Pedigo, 100, of McMinnville passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 26, at her residence.

Emma was born Sunday, Dec. 18, 1921 in Woodbury, the daughter of the late Nellie Cope Roller and Robert Roller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Homer Pedigo, granddaughter Melody Steeley, three sisters Narcissia Seal, Mary Francis Joins and Marie Duke, and brother Samuel Roller.

She was a homemaker and a member of Gath Baptist Church in McMinnville.

Emma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Rayburn and Cynthia Pedigo of McMinnville, daughter and son-in-law Emma Jean and Jim Steeley of Mt. Juliet, two sisters Sophia Stewart of McMinnville. and Willie (Bill) Kirby of Smithville, brother R.L. Roller of Farmersville, LA; special friend Ann Cutrell of McMinnville, three grandchildren, Russell and Teresa Pedigo of McMinnville, Brad and Sandy Pedigo of McMinnville, Jonathan and Jenni Steeley of Smyrna, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Special thanks to Avalon Hospice and all the caregivers of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Interment will be at Providence Cemetery in McMinnville. Officiating will be Bro. Steve Brown and Danny Barnes.

The family received friends Saturday and will again on Sunday, Aug. 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of the service, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
