Edna Elizabeth Powell Griswold, 91, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, was born Dec. 27, 1926 and died June 1 at her residence following a five-month illness. She was a retired bookkeeper with Warren Mechanical, member of Westwood Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Jesse N. and Bedie E. Vanatta Watson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Willard Franklin Powell; second husband, Edgar F. Griswold; and three brothers, J.W., Thomas and Steve Watson.
