Earl McCarty, 61, a McMinnville resident and Kentucky native, died Oct. 1 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a retired machinist with the TVA and member of Pioneer Community Church. He was preceded in death by nephews, Gregory Graham and Tyler Graham; father-in-law, Charles Cagle; and brother-in-law, Tony Luna.
