Doyle Cooper Pryor died May 6 at his residence.

Doyle Cooper Pryor, 82, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Oct. 7, 1934 and died May 6 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a farmer, member of Arlington Church of Christ and son of the late Henry and Martha Golden Pryor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Graydon, Joe and Wayne Pryor; sisters, Thelma Harris and Virginia Crouch; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Pryor.
Mr. Pryor was married Jan. 10, 1956 to Barbara Davis Pryor, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Susan Pryor of Rock Island and Kenny and Jane Ann Pryor and Brent Pryor, all of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and spouses, Paul and Shelly Davis, Almetia and Jimmy Jones, Abram and Kaitlyn Pryor, Martha and Jared Johnston, Sam Pryor, Spencer Pryor, Cody and Candace Pryor and Stacey and Eddie Thomas; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Marta Sue and Johnny Pitman of Murfreesboro and Anna Lee Blair of the Centertown community; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Monday, May 8 at High’s Chapel with Wayne Cantrell and Jon Simmons officiating. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at
