McMinnville resident and Montgomery County native Dorothy Elizabeth “Dot” Snodgrass, 96, was born April 2, 1921 and died May 8 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following a sudden illness.A homemaker, member of Gath Baptist Church, and member of The Order of The Eastern Star McMinnville Chapter 349 for 66 years, she was the daughter of the late Lawyer and Irene Capshaw. She was married on March 13, 1941 to Paul Jerry Snodgrass, who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1997. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Patrick Riley; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Geneva Stevens; and sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and E.H. Harmon.
