Mr. Clinton Ray Hines, 67, of Sparta died Saturday, May 17, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center .Mr. Hines was born April 25, 1947 in McMinnville, the only child of the late Erby Franklin Hines and Mary Etta Hillis Hines. He worked at DeZurik in McMinnville for 32 years and later retired from Averett Express as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Lee Spakes Spaulding; paternal grandparents, Erby and Lemmer Perry Hines; and maternal grandparents, Frank Cheatham Hillis and Tennie Mae Davis Hillis.He is survived by his wife Lynda Christine Spakes Hines of Sparta; son, Charlie Ray Hines of Sparta; daughter Mary Ann Dennison of Sparta; grandchildren, Shelby and Aaron Comer, both of Sparta; brothers-in-law, Dudley Reed Spakes and wife, Ruth Haston Spakes of Sparta, Ronny Spakes of Rock Island, Donald Lee Spakes and wife Kathy of Jacksonville, Fla.
