Claudia Jo Hallum Stanton, 89, a McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native was born March 1, 1925 and died May 23 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a homemaker and member of Dibrell Church of Christ and daughter of the late Charles Stenson and Lula Louis Austin Hallum. She was married Nov. 15, 1945 to Frederick Maynard Stanton Jr., who preceded her in death Oct. 7, 2007.
