Clarence Aubrey Foster, 73, of McMinnville (Lucky community) died Saturday, March 22, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1940, in Warren County and was a retired produce manager with Kroger after 33 years of service, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and lay speaker. Mr. Foster was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Robert and Vesta Redmon Foster, and great-grandson Ethan Foster. He was co-captain of the Dibrell High School basketball team in 1958, winning quarterfinals in the state tournament.
Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Billie Ann Fuson Foster; children and spouses, Dwayne (Debbie) Foster, Chris Foster, Leigh Anne (Rob) Steiner, and Jarred (Lynn) Foster, all of McMinnville; special family friends, Kim Harmon and Lisa Foster, grandchildren Rebecca (Chris) Farless of Rock Island, A.J. (Denice) Foster of Smyrna, Christopher (Brooke) Foster of Smithville, Leila (Chad) Haston, Jordan, Mitchell, and Alex Steiner, Nicholas, Adrian, and Ashleigh Foster, all of McMinnville; granddaughter by choice, Lori Del Padgett and grandson by choice, Drew Harmon; great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Gabe, and Brooklyn Farless, Kobe Clary, Kellen Foster, Traeton Byars, and Annleigh Rose Haston (due July 2014); sister-in-law, Deane (Don) Crowder; niece, Kellye (Josh) Werner; nephew, Kip (Monica) Crowder; and great-nieces, Briana Crowder and Maggie Werner.
Funeral service was held Monday at Trinity Baptist Church. Willard Ralph Jr., and John Padgett officiated. Interment followed at Memorial Hill Cemetery at Trinity. The 1958 graduating class and basketball team served as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church’s playground project, 1710 John Oliver Road, McMinnville, TN  37110. Thomas Norman Theiss, Sr., 77

Thomas Norman Theiss, Sr. was born May 24, 1947 and went home to be with Jesus on Friday afternoon, March 28, 2025. He was born and lived in Michigan for 45 years and then moved to McMinnville, Tennessee for the last 32 years.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Donald and Caroline Filipowski Theiss; brother, Donald Theiss and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Eula Presley.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Glenda Marie Presley Theiss; children, Susan (Mark) Long, Brandy Perez, Cindy Hale, Gwendolyn (Richard) Holt, Tammy Norma Theiss, and Tommy Norman Theiss, Jr.; grandchildren, Sean, Gabriel, Jaylen, Gavin, Tommy Ray, Hannah, and Diane; great-granddaughters, Lea and Luci; sisters, Cheryl (Butch) Galyon, Lorry Cantrell, Debra Prokoff; brother, Larry (Carolyn) Theiss; many sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, serving the Lord as well as playing games with the children, cooking and eating wild meat. He really enjoyed his church family at Peoples Pentecostal Church, where he faithfully attended.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Pentecostal Church with his pastor, Michael Hewell and Jay Young officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., Monday 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. al visitation at Peoples Pentecostal Church.
