Mrs. Charlotte Ann Mullican, 63, of McMinnville died Saturday, April 9, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. 

She was born Oct. 21, 1958 in Manchester and was preceded in death by her mother Martha Ellen Dykes, brother Danny Michael Dykes, and mother-in-law Elsa Mullican. Charlotte was a special education assistant who was well loved by her students for over 15 years with the Warren County School System. She loved her students as her own and would often go out of her way to make them feel special. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Charlotte. Charlotte loved spending time with her four grandchildren more than anything. She made many special memories with them that will be forever cherished. Although “Nana” was her most coveted title, she was also a very loved wife, mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. 

Survivors include her husband Sam Mullican, son and daughter-in-law Brad and Letitia Mullican, daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Jody Denney, grandchildren Austin Mullican, Logan Mullican, Maxton Denney, and Emmy Denney, brother Larry Dykes, and sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Gary Cope, brother-in-law Louis Mullican, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Vera and Kenny Kuhn, several nieces and nephews Derek and Buddi Dean, Drayton Dean, Brinkli Dean, Tres Sueiro, Haley and Jordan Hutchison, Oaklen Hutchison, and Josh Kuhn. Several other family members and close friends survive.

Graveside services and interment are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Mt. View Cemetery on Highway 30. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home as friends will meet the family at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
