Charity Pearl Bouldin Rutledge, 87, a Rock Island resident and Van Buren County native, was born Dec. 28, 1929 and died June 22 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of Levi’s, a member of Pine Bluff Community Church and daughter of the late Clyde Bouldin and Lola Ann Lee Farris. Mrs. Rutledge was married to pastor James Rutledge, who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2007.
