Carolyn Sue McDonald, 69, of Woodbury died Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Saint Thomas Rutherford. She was a native of Liberty, Ky.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James D. McDonald of Woodbury; children, Tammy (Tim) Young of McMinnville, Tim (Karonica) McDonald of Murfreesboro, Steve (LeeAnn) McDonald and Coby (Susan) McDonald, both of Liberty, Ky.; grandchildren Tiffany Smith, Travis Young, Tyler McDonald, Tristan Adcock, Hannah McDonald, Baylen Hill, Caroline McDonald, Tatum Young, Caleb McDonald and Benjamin McDonald; great-grandchildren, Halle Drue Smith, Maverick Smith, Lennox Smith, Demi Adcock, Camille Young, Haddie Adcock, Titus McDonald and Levi Young; family friend Gary Whitworth of Woodbury; siblings Danny Buis and Judy Smith of Liberty, Ky., Rita Johnson of Science Hill and Nancy Thomas of Summer Set, Ky.She was preceded in death by her parents, Berlin and Ella Mae Thompson Buis; brother Eugene Buis and granddaughter, Ella Grayson McDonald.A member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, Carolyn was known for her love of children, including her own and many others she helped raise over 30 years of being the owner-operator of Tammy’s Tots to Teen.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Ky. with Bro. Thaddeus Eubanks officiating.
