Antioch resident and Nashville native Caroline Rhea Smith, 30, died Dec. 16 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after a brief illness.The daughter of Bee Bragg Petterson of Nashville and the late James F. Smith, she was preceded in death by grandfather, Thomas M. Bragg.She is survived by brother, Benjamin J. Smith of Smyrna; stepfather, William R. Petterson of Nashville; grandmother, Janie R. Bragg of McMinnville; uncles and aunts, Jay and Lynn Bragg and their children, D’ann and Alex of McMinnville, and McQuiddy and Beth Bragg of Nashville.Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. View Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Bude Van Dyke officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
