McMinnville resident and Worcester, Mass., native Candace Lee Ritz, 53, was born Jan. 9, 1961 and died Sept. 22 at Bradford Health Service in Birmingham, Ala.
A homemaker and a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Donna Krieger of Venice, Fla. She was married to Gene Ritz of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Travis and Katherine Ritz of Murfreesboro, Tracey and Barry Heald of Prosper, Texas, Jeremy and Chelsea Ritz of Murfreesboro and Tori and Casey Pelham of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Parker Heald, Tatum Heald, Ella Ritz, Scarlett Ritz and Easton Pelham; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Julie Krieger of Orono, Minnesota and Ty and Trina Krieger of Lancaster, Pa.; and sister and brother-in-law, Shelly and Tom Duff of Lancaster, Pa.
A celebration of life was held Saturday in High’s Chapel with Bude Van Dyke officiating. Burial followed at Gardens of Memory. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Breast Cancer Awareness.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
